Dani Joseph Area VII Representative CRTA Membership Committee
Over 50,000 Members! Our members have been [many still are] : Classroom Teachers; On Site Administrators;  School Nurses; School Librarians;  District Administrators; County Administrators;  and School Counselors. Anyone interested in the welfare of students, the educational system in California, or CalSTRS, the State Teachers Retirement System of California, should belong to CRTA. Members often stay with their Divisions long after moving to homes outside of the area. Members participate in Volunteer Community Activities as well as educational and social functions. They work to provide College Scholarships to students planning to become teachers and offer Grants to new teachers who struggle to obtain supplies. Division Newsletters keep members up to date on local activities as well as state and federal legislation that impacts their retirement.
